Unfortunately, I have to report the sad news that the club dinghy motor was stolen at 03:00hrs on Tuesday, 11 March. The matter has been reported to police, and an insurance claim has been lodged. Volunteers are required to help run our race. Please phone John Smallwood on 0428 267 137. Additionally, if you have a dinghy that the club could use as a safety boat, please let us know ASAP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The club submitted several nominations, and we are thrilled to announce that Todd Grace won the 2024 Masters Athlete of the Year, Ocean Paddling. Congratulations, Todd!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our club has been providing a group of Peregian Beach College students with kayaking instruction and experiences over this first term. Feedback has been positive, and we look forward to continuing this collaboration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
While we encourage all comers, please be mindful that permission should be sought from the committee prior to sharing club craft with visitors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There has been a very poor response to our request for people to add their name to the roster. Please consider giving back to the club by doing a simple task occasionally. If everyone did just one week, there would only be a once-a-year commitment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To improve communication and openness, the committee minutes are now uploaded to our website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
