A huge thank you to everyone who helped move the rack and re-sling the K4s. Your teamwork and enthusiasm made the job much easier.
Club facilities update
The remodeling for our additional change rooms, showers, and toilets will commence at the end of August, after the Maroochy River Race.
Did you know our club is not connected to the sewer system? We rely on a holding tank which is pumped out monthly, costing around $300 each time. Recently, we’ve needed two pump-outs per month. Please help us keep costs down by limiting unnecessarily long showers – all waste water, not just toilet water, goes into this tank.
Cleaning roster
Thank you to Helen Garsden for taking on the role of organising the cleaning roster. Please add your name to the roster posted on the side of the fridge.
A reminder about memberships
Thankfully, we don’t need to chase membership renewals – Paddle Australia sends reminders directly to members. If you haven’t renewed yet, please log in to your Paddle Australia account to pay your fees.
Volunteers make it happen
Our club runs entirely on volunteer support, and every helping hand makes a difference. Whether it’s helping at events, cleaning, or assisting with projects, your contribution is truly valued.
