Grant Updates & Club Improvements
This year, several successful grant applications and community contributions are transforming our club:
- Strategic Planning: Thanks to a $5,000 grant from Sunshine Coast Regional Council, we’re creating a roadmap to sustain the club’s growth and success for years to come.
- New Shed & Fence: With $85,000 from the Gambling Community Benefit Fund, our new fencing is complete, and the shed construction is on its way—less mowing for us!
- Play Our Way Grant: We’ve secured funding to upgrade the clubhouse interior with additional toilets and showers. Plans are on the notice board—check them out!
- Volunteer Grants: We’ve submitted an expression of interest to be asked to apply for funding to purchase new paddles, life jackets, and safety gear. Stay tuned for updates.
A special thank-you to Pete Melia and Maroochy Home Assist for the locker boxes, which have been a fantastic addition to the club.
