Club Time Trial

Our monthly club time trial has been revamped.  It’s proposed : i) a Saturday to encourage more participants; ii) revise the course to a loop from the club house, around a couple of marker buoys for spectator benefit; iii) the distance could be a choice of the number of loops; iv) run on a handicapped system and allocate points for those beating their previous times; a gold coin donation from participants could fund prizes for winners.  Dates to be the last Saturday of the month unless this clashes with a race on the PQ or other calendar.  Commencement date to be advised.  Members of all skill levels are encouraged to participate to so ensure we have inclusive event.

Results from the time trial held Sunday 4 February are as follows:

Club Media / Face Book

Thanks to Matt Ramke-Meyer has been looking after our club face book and media role for several years now.  Unfortunately Matt is no longer able to continue with this commitment and we are seeking a club member to take on this role.  It’s important to maintain an active social media presence to keeping members informed about club activities and also attracting potential new members or sponsors.  So if you are savvy with face book and other media, please contact us about how you can help lift the club’s profile, keep it in the forefront of consumer attention and promote our sponsors.

Please don’t hesitate to contact us with your ideas, concerns, or suggestions anytime. You can find my phone number on our Facebook page, and we are always responsive to club emails.
